The Harrier 30x AF-Zoom USB/HDMI Camera, featuring the Sony FCB-EV9500L, boasts 30x optical zoom and 12x digital zoom with simultaneous HDMI and USB Video Class (UVC) v1.1 output, supporting SMPTE 274M and SMPTE 296M compliant video output up to 1080p60. The USB Video output activates when connected to a SuperSpeed USB 3.x host, while HDMI output activates with cable connection. DIP switch settings on the board enable selection of camera video mode upon power-up, with control options including VISCA commands over RS-485/RS-232/TTL, Harrier Virtual COM port, or UVC commands. The USB interface serves as UVC video output, USB-based control input port, and optional power supply, with an example UVC video application available in the Harrier USB SDK. Leveraging Sony FCB-EV9500L technology, the camera ensures high-quality imaging even in low-light conditions, featuring advanced functionalities like Flare Reduction, Noise Reduction (NR), Wide Dynamic Range Mode (Wide-D), Visibility Enhancer (VE), Defog, and Super+ Image Stabilizer, suitable for various demanding applications.

Connector Specifications (camera interface board)
KEL30 Connector (J1)The interface board is fitted with a 30-way miniature connector to link to the matching connector on the camera.
Connector type: KEL USL00-30L
Mating cable: A 30-way micro coaxial cable (AS-CIB-USL30-100MM) is supplied with the camera. Lengths available: KEL USL20-30SS-010-C (100mm length) or KEL USL20-30SS-005-C (50mm length).

USB 3.1 Connector (J6)This USB Type C connector provides a USB Video Class (UVC) v1.1 video stream for connection to a host PC. The connector also provides a UVC control port for camera control (optional). It can also provide power to the camera or board if the USB connection has a high enough current/power rating.

Interface
USB/UVCThe SuperSpeed USB video port (USB Type C, J6) can be used to stream/acquire image data in parallel with the HDMI display output. The video mode of the UVC stream is the same as the output of the camera. To change the mode of the UVC stream the mode of the camera should be changed using VISCA serial commands, UVC control or DIP switch settings (and power cycling). Video modes up to 1080p60 are supported.

HDMIHDMI output is enabled when an HDMI cable is plugged in. The video mode of the HDMI output is the same as the output of the camera. To change the mode of the HDMI output the mode of the camera should be changed using VISCA serial commands or DIP switch settings (and power cycling). Video modes up to 1080p60 are supported.
