Base Units
As the central module of the mag.x System 125, the base units connect both the components of the observation path (objective and tube lenses) and the illumination path (illumination tube). The autofocus modules (actuators and autofocus sensors) and mounting plates are directly connected to the base units. The base units also serve as central assembly units for the mag.x overall system.
Five base units are available. They essentially differ in that filter plug-in units are integrated and/or external components (such as autofocus sensors) can be adapted. When using a base unit with a filter insert (G192-082-000; G192-083-000; G192-089-000), a filter slider with polarization filter can be used.
The ATF6 autofocus sensor (wavelength 785 nm) from Wise Device Inc. is adapted to the G192-083-000 and G192-089-000 base units. Base unit G192-089-000 offers the possibility to connect adapter kit 2421-004-889-00 to enable optimal coupling of the autofocus sensor at any angle.
If the use of illumination module and/or autofocus modules is not required, the tube lens and objective can be connected using the G192-009-000 direct adapter.
