Allied Vision will extend its portfolio with two new GigE camera series powered by ALVIUM® Technology, Allied Vision’s ASIC chip. The Alvium G1 and Alvium G5 will combine the advantages of the established GigE Vision standard with the flexibility of the Alvium platform.
Experience unprecedented possibilities for your application by having the choice between two levels of interface performance. More than 25 sensors are available, covering the latest Global Shutter and Rolling Shutter sensors. The models cover a broad spectral range including UV, visible, NIR, and SWIR. With superior image quality through FPNC, DPC, Active Sensor Alignment, and industrial standard hardware, both Alvium G1 and G5 provide future-proof reliability for your applications.
Powered by ALVIUM Technology
ALVIUM® is a powerful, energy-efficient processor including an Image Signal Processor (ISP) and an Image Processing Library (IPL). It allows image corrections and pre-processing on the camera to optimize image quality and throughput for your application while offloading your CPUs on the embedded system.

Alvium G1 Series
Alvium G1 is the first GigE Vision camera powered by ALVIUM® Technology, Allied Vision’s ASIC chip. It combines the advantages of the established GigE Vision standard with the flexibility of the Alvium platform. The Alvium G1 camera series will come in a future-proof package with a comprehensive feature set including a broad selection of the most popular sensors in machine vision. In addition to a comprehensive feature set and a broad sensor selection, it offers great versatility. With its very compact housing and industrial standard hardware, it can easily be integrated into any vision systems while ensuring long-term availability and reliability. And the best part is – early production cameras are already available!

Alvium G5 Series
The Alvium G5 camera series combines the advantages of the 5GigE interface and the flexibility of the Alvium platform. It provides all the advantages of the GigE Vision standard while providing more bandwidth for applications, where resolution and frame rate are critical. The Alvium G5 camera series enables an easy upgrade of existing systems (USB3 Vision or GigE Vision) and offers backwards compatibility with GigE solutions. All these advantages come in a familiar sugar cube form factor to ensure easy migration for your application!
